The ring itself, with the ruler on it.

This is the EndoRing® II on its own – the way most surgeries start with one. Jordco describe it as an organiser that lets the clinician directly place, store, measure and clean endodontic hand and rotary instruments inside the operating field, and their argument for it is fewer passes of a sharp instrument between people and less reaching out of the field. The laser-etched metal ruler is on it, so measuring happens where the file already is. Add the foam and the cups as you use them, or take the Premium Kit, which is this ring with a working supply of both.

Measure without unchucking	Jordco’s own point, and the one that saves the most time: a rotary file is calibrated without taking it out of the handpiece, against a 30 mm scale marked in half-millimetres. A second scale reads to 37 mm for a long canal
Curved files too	The file flattens into the calibrating channel under light pressure, the stop is set, and it springs back to its curve when you lift it out
Fits your hand, not a hand	Three interchangeable finger rings in the box. Jordco have you wear it on the index finger of the other hand, past the knuckle and rotated, so the mirror hand stays free
Ruler is detachable	Anodized aluminium, and it comes off for cleaning. Jordco’s IFU: autoclave the cup with the ruler attached the first time to temper it, then always process the two separately – and never put the ruler in an ultrasonic bath

How is this different from the Premium Kit?
The ring is identical. The Premium arrives with a working supply on top – 48 e-Foam® inserts and 48 GelWell® cups. This one is the ring on its own, so order a foam pack and a pack of cups alongside it and you are set up the same way.

The ruler has gone loose – is it finished?
No, and Jordco publish the fix. Take the ruler off and steam autoclave the EndoRing® cup on its own for two cycles; that restores the retention feature.
