Intermittent readings are often the cord, not the unit. This is the genuine Morita measuring cable supplied with the DentaPort Root ZX, also used on the later Root ZX – approx. 1.6 m, connecting the file holder and the contrary electrode to the unit.

I have an early Root ZX. Is this the right cord?

This MK2 cord is listed for the Root ZX from serial no. MC onwards. The cord for earlier units (MK1) has been discontinued – call us with the serial number and we will advise.

Does it fit the Root ZX mini?

No – the mini takes its own angled-plug probe cord.
