Suction the canal instead of blotting it

Endo-Aspirator is Cerkamed's fine suction line for the root canal: a thin flexible tip on a tube that plugs into the chair's suction, so the irrigant comes out of the canal by vacuum rather than by paper point. Cerkamed's claim for it is time and points: "reduces working time (even 10 times)" and "reduces the required amount of paper points (up to 80%)". Single use, five to the pack.

What it is for

›  Cerkamed's three properties: "it facilitates drainage of the root canal", "reduces working time (even 10 times)", "reduces the required amount of paper points (up to 80%)". Those are Cerkamed's figures; they publish no test behind them, so read them as the manufacturer's claim.

Single-use or the PRO?

This one is the disposable: everything that touches the canal is thrown away, five sets per pack. The Endo-Aspirator PRO is a stainless steel handle that autoclaves, clips to the unit with a magnet, and takes replaceable Luer-lock hoses. Same job; the PRO is for the practice that runs it every day.

Does it replace paper points?

Cerkamed's own figure is up to 80% fewer, not none. A final dry with a point is still most clinicians' habit before the cone goes in.
