Two components, one item, one thing to open. Vista Apex supply these 3cc syringes already fitted with an Appli-Vac™ irrigating tip – side-vented, 30G – so there is no pairing a barrel to a needle at the chairside and no box of tips to keep alongside a box of syringes. Their own phrase for it is increasing efficiency, and on a bulk consumable that is mostly about the seconds and the shelf space.

› Loose tips instead Appli-Vac™ Irrigating Tips 30G or 27G – if you already have barrels.
› Irrigants Chlorax 5.25%, Chlorax 2%, Endo-Solution 17% EDTA.
› Reusable alternative NiTi SuperFlex™ 30G – autoclavable, six per cup.
› Or the familiar one Monoject 3cc with 23G needles or 27G – same 3cc barrel, 100 a box, if that is what your surgery already runs on.

Pre-tipped or loose tips?
Pre-tipped saves a step and a second box; loose tips let you keep one barrel and change gauge. QED stock both, and the honest answer is that it depends on how your surgery sets up a tray.

Can I put a different tip on it?
Vista Apex list the Secure-Lock™ Appli-Vac™ tips as also suitable. Beyond that they publish no compatibility list.
