Are they sterile out of the packet?
No. Vista Apex say to autoclave before first use. Disposable means single-use, not pre-sterilised – the two get confused, and this is the one thing to get right on this product.
Which size do I need?
That is your call on the access and the material. The three are 0.99 mm here, and 0.80 mm purple or 1.60 mm green.
Do I have to buy five?
No – QED list single carriers as well, so an occasional size need not come as a box.
