The EndoActivator module on its own, for the SmartLite Pro handpiece

No handpiece, batteries or tips in this box. This is the EndoActivator Attachment by itself: the 360° rotatable head that drives the activator tips at two sonic speeds when mounted on the SmartLite Pro handpiece. It is for a practice that already has the handpiece, whether replacing an attachment or adding a second. The indication, in Dentsply Sirona’s words, is “intracanal activation of irrigating fluids used for cleaning and disinfecting root canals”.

› Designated tips only – The instructions warn against using the attachment with anything other than EndoActivator activator tips, and strongly recommend rubber dam.
› Do not autoclave – The attachment takes intermediate-level disinfection by wiping. Do not immerse it, and keep hypochlorite off the contacts.
› Sleeve, not too tight – A barrier sleeve pulled tight over the attachment head can stall the motor.

Attachment or Refill Kit?
The Refill Kit is this attachment plus 100 barrier sleeves and 25 each of Small, Medium and Medium Long tips. If you need tips and sleeves as well, compare the two before you order.

Will it fit my SmartLite Pro curing light?
Dentsply Sirona’s UK brochure describes the SmartLite® Pro as “a multi-functional modular device” with “interchangeable tips for a variety of clinical indications”, and the EndoActivator Attachment is one of those modules. If you are not sure your handpiece is a SmartLite Pro, ask us before ordering.
