Do I need an oven?
Yes – Thermafil® obturators are heated in a dedicated obturator oven per the Dentsply Sirona IFU. Chairside flame heating is not the technique.

How is this different from cone obturation?
The carrier delivers warm, flowable gutta percha to the full working length in one insertion – the 3D adaptation of a warm technique at nearer single-cone speed.

Which size do I pick?
These are matched to Primary preparations – if the Primary was your finishing file, this is the obturator. Verify with the size verifier before heating.
