Large apex, mature root, or a retreatment that opened up. Where the Large file finished the shape, the Large point is the one that belongs to it. Dentsply Sirona make these to correspond with the four WaveOne® Gold file sizes and colour-code them to the file, which keeps the widest size honest rather than approximate.
