Fine, curved, sclerosed – and finished on the Small file. Then the drying step should follow the same size. Dentsply Sirona make these points to correspond with the four WaveOne® Gold file sizes and colour-code them to match, so the box on the bracket table is the one that belongs to the shape in the tooth.

› Keep one box of each – the size you need is decided by the canal, not by the order you placed last month.
› Fill to match – the Conform Fit® Small cone is cut to the same size in the range.
› Dry before you seal – check your own sealer's IFU; every one of them assumes it.

Questions we get asked

› When is Small the right box? When the Small was your finishing file – typically fine or markedly curved canals where the Primary would not passively progress.

› Can I use Primary points in a Small preparation? Nothing stops you, but the sizing then means nothing – which defeats the object of buying points that are made to a size system in the first place. Other sizes: Primary · Medium · Large.
