When the Primary gauged loose

A wider apical preparation needs a wider point. If the Primary reached length loosely and you stepped up to the Medium, the drying step should step up with it. Dentsply Sirona make these points to correspond with the four WaveOne® Gold file sizes, colour-coded to the file, so the size decision is already made for you.

› Fill to match – the Conform Fit® Medium cone belongs to the same size in the range.

Questions we get asked

› When do I need Medium? When the Medium file was the last one to reach length – wider canals, and apices that gauge above the Primary. Other sizes: Small · Primary · Large.

› How many boxes should a practice hold? Most lists run on Primary with Medium behind it. Small and Large turn over more slowly, but the case that needs one always arrives on the day you have none.
