Twelve mirrors, so every tray gets a good one

How many of your mirrors are scratched, dulled or quietly two generations old? Most surgeries buy mirrors one at a time and end up with a drawer of unequal ones. The No. 3 at Ø 20 mm is the size that suits a smaller mouth or a tighter posterior approach without dropping all the way to a paediatric head, and twelve is enough to restock every set at once and retire the rest.

No. 3 or No. 4?
No. 4 at Ø 22 mm shows you more and is what most clinicians default to. No. 3 buys you two millimetres of clearance, which matters more often than it sounds – a small mouth, a heavy cheek, a patient who cannot open wide. Plenty of practices stock both: No. 4 is here.

Do I need new handles as well?
Only if you do not already run SS thread. These are standard simple-stem cones and screw onto any SS handle Hahnenkratt make.

Is there a one-piece version?
Yes – RELAX FS ULTRA is moulded as a single piece with nothing to unscrew, if the decontamination lead would rather not have a joint at all.
