Real-T-Endo™ · #14 upper left first molar · radiopaque
Can you mark an access cavity objectively? Only if the tooth was built to have a right answer. Acadental designed the Real-T Endo #14 to perform an ideal access – their wording is that optimal access allows for the removal of all pulp horns and straight-line access to all canal orifices. That gives an examiner something to point at: pulp horns gone, every orifice reachable without deflecting the file, and no more tooth removed than that. The whole tooth radiographs, so the finished cavity and the fill can both be assessed on film.
This item: 1 × Real-T Endo #14, upper left first molar (UL6), radiopaque
Made by Acadental, USA
| Built for access | Acadental designed this tooth specifically for teaching an ideal access preparation |
| All pulp horns | An optimal cavity removes every pulp horn – a checkable outcome, not an opinion |
| Straight-line access | Every canal orifice reachable without the file bending against a wall |
| Radiographs fully | Acadental: the entire tooth can be radiographed |
› The teaching molar – where #03 is the MB2 hunt, #14 is the access lesson, and most courses want both.
› Also available mounted – the #14 with breakaway insert snaps into the module so the tooth sits with its neighbours.
› Cutting with a diamond? – if you want enamel that behaves like enamel under the bur, that is X2 Endo, where Acadental publishes dual hardness.
Why buy a tooth designed for a "correct" access?
Because access is the step everything else depends on, and it is the hardest thing to mark consistently across a cohort. A tooth with a defined ideal makes the feedback specific.
Loose tooth or insert version?
Loose is cheaper and fine for bench work in the hand. The insert version is the one to use when adjacent teeth and a realistic approach angle matter.
What about the see-through option?
Endo 3DP #14 comes pre-accessed with graded easy, moderate and severe roots – a shaping exercise, not an access one, and it does not radiograph.
| Mount it | ModuPRO Endo Kit – wider upper first molar sockets |
| Mounted version | #14 with breakaway insert – sits with its neighbours |
