Do I actually need 27 mm?
Only for the long cases. If most of your work sits in premolars and anteriors, 21 mm is the everyday tip and 25 mm the usual second box.

Can I trim a longer tip down?
No – these are stainless cannulas with a formed sideport. Order the length you need, or take the assorted pack.

Open-end or sideport for sealer?
Many clinicians prefer an open-end tip for sealer and keep sideport tips for medicaments. The 29 ga open-end 50-pack covers that side of the tray.
