White Mac™ Tip · 20 tips
Trying to caulk a distal margin on a lower seven with a straight tip? The White Mac™ is Ultradent's all-plastic delivery tip with, in their words, a greater angle for easy intraoral delivery – and it dispenses thick and large volumes, which is what a heavy-bodied block-out material actually asks of a tip. This is the 20-tip tub: the sensible quantity to keep beside the dam kit.
This pack: 20 × White Mac™ tips
Made by Ultradent, USA
| Greater angle | Angled for intraoral delivery, so posterior and lingual surfaces stop being a wrestling match |
| Thick volumes | Built to dispense thick materials in quantity – caulking, putty and slurries rather than thin liquids |
| All plastic | No metal cannula – and the tip can be trimmed to the diameter the job needs |
| Single use | Ultradent specifies single-use only – discard after the patient |
› Use it with OraSeal™ Caulking and OraSeal™ Putty – the two materials Ultradent names for this tip.
› Also for Consepsis™ Scrub and Opalustre™ slurries where a wide-bore, angled tip beats a needle.
› Trimmable – cut back to widen the aperture for heavier material.
Twenty or a hundred?
Twenty suits a practice that seals the occasional leaking dam. If OraSeal is on every endo tray, the 100-tip tub drops the cost per tip considerably.
White Mac or Black Mini?
White Mac for thick materials and awkward access. Black Mini™ is the opaque tip – the one to use with light-cured materials, because the black plastic keeps them from setting in the tip.
Can I autoclave them?
No. These are single-use tips and Ultradent publishes no reprocessing protocol. Disinfect the syringe between patients and discard the tip.
