NaviTip™ Single Sideport · 29 ga · 25 mm
Long canine? Tall-crowned molar? Tip bottoming out before the paste gets deep enough? This is the 25 mm NaviTip™ Single Sideport – same closed, rounded end and side-wall port as the 21 mm, four millimetres more reach. Ultradent describes the sideport as directing the flow of chemistry out before it flows down into the area of the apex, thus reducing the risk of product extrusion.
This pack: 20 × NaviTip 29 ga Single Sideport, 25 mm, blue
Made by Ultradent, USA
| 25 mm reach | The length for long roots and deep access cavities, where a 21 mm cannula runs out before the apical third |
| Side port | Capped, rounded end with the opening in the side wall – flow leaves the cannula before the apex |
| Blue = 25 mm | Colour matched to endo file lengths, so the longer tip is never picked up by mistake |
| Flexible tip | Final 5 mm annealed – extra length without extra stiffness at the working end |
› Specified for UltraCal™ XS – the sideport tip is the delivery Ultradent names for its calcium hydroxide paste.
› Technique – rubber stop at 3–4 mm from the apex, cannula kept free in the canal, dispense gently on withdrawal.
› Fits the Skini syringe and Ultradent Luer lock syringes.
Should I just stock 25 mm for everything?
You can, but the extra length is harder to control in short anterior canals. Most practices hold 21 mm as the everyday tip and 25 mm alongside it.
Is there anything longer?
Yes – the 27 mm for the deepest access, or the assorted pack to cover the range from one box.
Single use?
Yes. Ultradent specifies single use and publishes disposal only – no reprocessing protocol exists for these tips.
