Obtura Spartan CPR® · 19.0 mm · standard thread
The same tip, two millimetres longer. CPR 4 is the medium Problem Solver – diamond coated, listed by Obtura Spartan for removing obstructions in the canal, troughing around posts and chasing calcifications, on a 19.0 mm shank. It is the middle choice for when 17 mm stops short and 24 mm is more tip than the access will take.
This pack: Spartan CPR® 4D Ultrasonic Tip, The Problem Solver Medium, 19mm · single tip · reusable, steam sterilise before use
Made by Obtura Spartan
| Thread | The standard Obtura Spartan thread; the EMS version is a separate code, CPR 4E. Unsure what your handpiece takes? Send us the make and model and we will check |
| Diamond coated | Obtura Spartan list the D tips in this range as diamond coated. It is the coating doing the cutting, not the shank |
| Reuse | Registered by Obtura Spartan as reusable, steam sterilise before use |
› Other thread CPR 4E, the EMS-threaded version – same tip, different handpiece.
› Next along the range CPR 3D, 17.0 mm and CPR 5D, 24.0 mm.
› You will want the wrench Wrench for Spartan Tips, and the Spartan Tip Stand to keep eight tips out of a drawer.
How long does a tip last?
Obtura Spartan publish no figure and neither will we. Worth knowing is that a diamond tip stops cutting well before it looks worn, so judge it on how it is working rather than on how it looks.
