A 1.7 mm round diamond on a long neck

MDT’s 697 round long neck: a 1.7 mm round diamond head set on a long, slim neck, on a 21 mm FG long shank. Medium grit, blue ring. One of the eight burs in the Endo Access Kit.

Supplied clean, not sterile

MDT supply these burs "mechanically clean, but NOT sterile": clean and steam-sterilise them before first use and before each reuse – MDT’s instructions give 134°C with a 4-minute hold and 15 minutes’ drying. "Do not use worn-out or dull instruments."
