MDT list the advantages of their FG 24K Gold diamonds as "better visibility of burs in the mouth", "self-lubricating 24Karat Gold increases stock removal rate", "no corrosion – even under extreme conditions" and "gold works cleaner and is easier to clean".

Supplied clean, not sterile

MDT supply these burs "mechanically clean, but NOT sterile": clean and steam-sterilise them before first use and before each reuse – MDT’s instructions give 134°C with a 4-minute hold and 15 minutes’ drying. "Do not use worn-out or dull instruments."
