Eight MDT access burs in one kit

Eight of MDT’s endo access burs, one of each: two long-neck round diamonds, three ball-ended tapered diamonds, an uncoated-tip cone, and two tungsten carbides. Every bur is also sold in its own pack of five, so the kit can be kept topped up.

Supplied clean, not sterile

MDT supply these burs "mechanically clean, but NOT sterile": clean and steam-sterilise them before first use and before each reuse – MDT’s instructions give 134°C with a 4-minute hold and 15 minutes’ drying. "Do not use worn-out or dull instruments."

What is in the kit, by MDT’s description

The 697 is MDT’s round long neck diamond. The E164 is a ball-ended tapered diamond – MDT’s pointed cone with a "rounded coated tip"; the E165 a pointed cone with an "uncoated tip". The 152 is listed by MDT as an "endo access safe end" tungsten carbide with a 9 mm head, and the 151L-Z – MDT’s Zekrya – as a tungsten carbide with an 11 mm head on a 28 mm shank.

›  Keep the bur moving and do not press hard – MDT warn that excessive pressure and a stationary bur both generate heat.
