Where does a trainee learn that the apex is rarely a single hole? Not on a straight plastic canal. The Endo 3DP #09 is a maxillary central incisor with multiple terminuses in the apical third and a lateral canal in the mid-root section – the anatomy that explains, in one tooth, why irrigation matters as much as instrumentation. The see-through body means the lateral canal either takes up sealer in front of the class, or it does not.

› An obturation tooth – a single, accessible canal with complex apical exit is about as clear a demonstration of hydraulics as a bench exercise gets.
› Pre-accessed – the cavity is cut, so the session starts at cleaning and shaping.

Will the lateral canal actually fill?
That is the exercise, and it is why the tooth is see-through – you can compare a warm vertical technique against single cone and let the tooth settle the argument.

Can I radiograph it?
No – the Endo 3DP range is radiolucent. For films, use the radiopaque Real-T Endo #08 or X2 Endo #09.

Is one tooth enough for a course?
Most course leaders pair an incisor with a molar – #19 or #30 – so delegates meet an easy case and a hard one in the same session.
