KSK 2 · winged · premolar · black
Most lower bicuspids do not need anything clever. They need a clamp of the right span with flat beaks and a spring that holds, and that is the No.2 – the default lower premolar clamp in the KSK range and the one most kits are built around.
This item: 1 × KSK rubber dam clamp No.2, winged, black
Made by Dentech, Japan · Black finish · supplied singly
| Lower bicuspids | Flat beaks, four-point contact, for a premolar with a normal cervical contour |
| Winged | Dam, frame and clamp go on as one assembly, in a single movement |
| Sterilisation | Autoclavable at 121°C for 15 minutes or 132°C for 5 minutes |
› A size up – the 2A is the same idea, slightly wider, for bigger upper and lower bicuspids.
› When it will not grip, the 2T is the serrated Tiger version of this clamp.
› Keep them findable on the stainless clamp stand.
2 or 2A?
Dentech describe the 2A as a little bigger than the 2, and list it for upper as well as lower bicuspids. If the 2 sits down but rotates, go up.
Does it come without wings?
The wingless equivalent of the 2A is the W2A. There is no wingless No.2 in the range.
