KSK 13A · winged · third molar · black
The 13A is the mirror of the 12A. Dentech draw it for third lower left and upper right molars, with the same flat serrated beaks: enough grip to hold a tooth you are working on largely by feel, without needing a cervical contour to scallop into.

Made by Dentech, Japan · Black finish · supplied singly
| Third molars | Lower left and upper right |
| Flat serrated beaks | Grip on a smooth, hard-to-see tooth |
| Paired | With the 12A – between them they cover all four eights |
› Own both or you will be short a clamp on half your third molar cases.
› Big lower seven instead: the 7A with flat beaks.
› Dam: QED non-latex medium (40), punched for a distal tooth with the Ainsworth punch.
12A or 13A – how do I remember?
12A takes the upper left and lower right; 13A takes the upper right and lower left. Marking the two positions on your clamp stand saves the guesswork.
Serrated but not a Tiger clamp?
Correct. Dentech describe the 12A and 13A as having flat serrated beaks. The Tiger range is a separate family of serrated clamps with its own numbering.
