KSK 7A · winged · lower molar · black
A wide lower six with a normal cervical line does not need festooning or serration – it needs span. The 7A is Dentech's large flat-beak lower molar clamp: four points of contact, a firm spring, and enough width to sit on a broad tooth without riding up it.
This item: 1 × KSK rubber dam clamp No.7A, winged, black
Made by Dentech, Japan · Black finish · supplied singly
| Big lower molars | Flat beaks on a wide span |
| Winged | Dam, frame and clamp go on as one assembly, in a single movement |
| Finish | An unpainted oxide layer, not a coating – it kills the glare back from the operating light |
› If it will not hold, the 56T adds serration and festooning.
› Upper molars want the No.5 or the 8A.
› Punch and place: QED non-latex dam (40), Ainsworth punch, Washington forceps.
7A or 56T on a lower six?
Start with the 7A. Move to the 56T when the tooth is restored, smooth or short-crowned enough that a flat beak keeps sliding.
Can I autoclave it with the rest of the tray?
Yes – autoclavable at 121°c for 15 minutes or 132°c for 5 minutes. A stainless clamp stand takes the whole set through the cycle in order.
