KSK 56T Tiger · winged · lower molar · black
Lower molars are broad, often heavily restored, and frequently the tooth you most need to stay isolated for the longest. The 56T is the Tiger version of Dentech's lower molar clamp: festooned beaks that follow the cervical contour, with serrated faces so a long endodontic appointment does not end with the clamp working loose.
This item: 1 × KSK rubber dam Tiger clamp No.56T, winged, black

› Flat-beak alternative for a big lower molar: the 7A.
› Subgingival lower molar – the handed 30 and 31 locate in the furcation.
› Long cases: HySolate Flexi-Dam non-latex holds up better than thin latex over an hour; the QED non-latex dam (40) is the everyday sheet.
Why serrated for a molar?
Not because a molar is hard to clamp in general, but because a porcelain or heavily restored surface gives a smooth beak nothing to engage. The serration is for the surface, not the tooth type.
Is there a bigger one?
Dentech make a 56A one size larger than the 56 in the smooth range. QED stock the serrated 56T; ask if you need the larger smooth version.
