KSK 12A · winged · third molar · black
Upper left and lower right eights sit at the same angle to your approach, which is why they share a clamp. The 12A is drawn specifically for those two, with flat serrated beaks for grip on a tooth you cannot see properly and cannot easily re-seat. Its mirror, the 13A, covers the other diagonal.
This item: 1 × KSK rubber dam clamp No.12A, winged, black
Made by Dentech, Japan · Black finish · supplied singly
| Third molars | Upper left and lower right, per Dentech's own indication |
| Flat serrated beaks | Grip without needing a festooned contour to follow |
| Paired | With the 13A for upper right and lower left |
› Buy the pair – one 12A covers two quadrants out of four.
› Half-erupted instead? The 14A has deeply festooned beaks for a molar only partly through.
› Keep the set ordered on the clamp stand.
Why is a third molar clamp handed?
Because access to an upper left eight and a lower right eight comes from the same side of the mouth. The beak offset that works for one works for the other, and is wrong for the opposite diagonal.
Is it winged?
Yes. On a tooth this far back, placing the dam and clamp as one assembly is usually easier than trying to stretch dam over a seated clamp.
