The 2A without the wings

Wings speed placement up and get in the way of seeing what you have placed. The W2A is Dentech's wingless 2A – the same wider bicuspid span and flat beaks, with nothing sitting over the cervical area, which is what you want when the margin is close to the gingiva and the beak position matters.

How do I place a wingless clamp?
Two ways: clamp on the tooth first and stretch the dam over the bow, or carry the dam on the clamp bow and place them together. Wingless does not mean slower once the routine is set.

Does it hold as well as the winged one?
Identically – the beaks and spring are the same. The wings are a placement feature, not a retention one.
