Flap raised, root resected, and the geometry you need is the one you did not buy? Apical surgery is the least forgiving place to find a gap in a kit. PD call this the specific kit for surgical specialists encountering complex cases, and it is the only MAP set carrying the triple-angle needles in both hands and both bores, plus two NiTi for the orthograde half of the day.

› Anterior or posterior? Castellucci and Papaleoni put the single-angle needles at anterior teeth and the triple-angle at posterior (Roots 2009;5(3):18–22) – their clinical view, and a reasonable place to start.
› Clean before you close. Fifteen minutes runs from use, not from the end of the operation, and a surgical list is exactly where that gets forgotten.
› Not for Biodentine in the yellow and red bores, per the IFU – which is every needle in this kit.

Are the hooked needles in it?
No. This kit carries the handed triple-angle Surgery needles; the Hooked geometry is bought separately, in any of the three bores.

Is it worth it over buying needles singly?
It depends on how much surgery you do. Four handed needles bought singly is a slower way to the same tray – but if you rarely resect a root, one hooked needle and your existing syringe may be enough.
